“In the near future, Sweden has been transformed into a totalitarian state, where individual freedom is stifled by strict surveillance and state control. In this dystopian version of Umeå, where surveillance cameras and ID checks are part of everyday life, 25-year-old Adam tries to live as normal a life as possible. But beneath the seemingly tranquil surface lies a brutal reality – deportations, propaganda and a bureaucracy that cuts deep into people’s lives and identities.”

Richard Desiatnik makes his debut with this film as both screenwriter and director.
